Rehman Madraswala, MD

My clients call me "Dr. M” and I am a board-certified psychiatrist serving children, adolescents, and adults. I was born and raised in NJ and received academic honors upon graduating from both undergraduate and medical school education. My child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry training was completed at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where I continue to serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

It has always been important for me to educate others and I am proud to have been a recipient of the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Medical School psychiatry medical student teaching award. I have also had the pleasure of giving numerous presentations to the academic community on various topics such as ADHD Pharmacotherapy and Vitamin-Mineral Treatment of ADHD. Evidence based treatment is a crucial part of my practice and I have been published in various academic journals including the Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Pediatrics.

My experience has been that of treating a wide range of psychiatric issues with specialization in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and depression. I use an integrated approach encompassing nutrition, supplements, exercise, sleep, psychotherapy, and medication. I find it absolutely critical to work collaboratively with my clients as a team in order to identify their needs and goals and to explore the ways in which we might best achieve them.
